e¹ Workshops

Dear schools,

In view of School ICT News Bulletin no. 146 (05/6/2009) advising that summer 2009 e¹ Support Workshops have been cancelled due to lack of suitable venue availability, we ask that schools do not confuse this with e¹ implementation training (e¹ training day 1, 2 and 3). None of the e¹ implementation training has been cancelled.

To clarify, e¹ Support Workshops are regular events for schools that have completed the entire training/transfer process (having completed e¹ implementation training). For these schools, please be assured that we have dates in place for e¹ Support Workshops during autumn term 2009 – for which invites will be sent before summer break to allow dates to be booked in diaries well in advance.

Schools that are scheduled to attend implementation training day 3 at the start of autumn term 2009 will not receive invite to attend autumn 2009 e¹ Support Workshops. This is because the afternoon of training day 3 is dedicated to addressing initial usage issues and offering support (as schools start to use e¹ after day 2 of e¹ implementation training) – which negates the need to attend an e¹ Support Workshop.
