Multi-Factor Authentication on Office 365

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a process of securing your account with more than just a password.  It is generally accepted now that platforms such as Office 365, where confidential information can be held, need more than a single authentication method as through ‘phishing’ or viruses that password could become compromised.
We announced via a School ICT News Bulletin and Ecourier Issue 657 that we are rolling out MFA in November/December 2018.
The first place to start for guidance is the Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication on Office 365 guide.
There is also a troubleshooting guide available here.
If you are still having problems, we have tried to provide some additional FAQ's here.
If you still have a problem after referring to these please get in touch with the Service Desk to log a ticket.
