School ICT News Bulletin No. 196 -

Published by ICT Shared Services

SIMS Management Information System

In MI Sheet 203/11 we reported that ICT Shared Services had reviewed the MIS project and support processes in response to the feedback from schools, and that actions were being put into place to:

  • give a good experience for schools moving into the MIS project and
  • support those schools who have already moved to SIMS to resolve any remaining concerns, make it easier and faster to access support options and increase confidence in using SIMS.

The Schools Business Partner reported to the Management Information System Implementation Project Board on 3rd October 2011 on the review and the actions taken. The report also covers the Service Desk Improvements covered in MI Sheet 226/11. The full report is available here for your information: SIMS Report – Review of Problems v1.3.

For Schools in the project rollout to move to SIMS from November 2011
