Schools Connectivity Services events on 2nd March 2016
Norfolk County Council has recently let a framework agreement to Updata Infrastructure to replace the current network contract with BT, which expires in March 2016. We are holding the following joint events:
School Connectivity Services for Primary and Special schools
0930 hours at South Green Park, Mattishall, NR20 3JY on Wednesday 2nd March.
This session is for senior leaders, teaching and administrative staff with an interest in what the new Updata service can offer schools.
Updata will cover the new service and an overview of the Netsweeper filtering solution, the protection included in the core package as well as options available as catalogue services such as web hosting service, Remote access to services hosted in schools, telephony, mobile solutions etc.
NCC staff will be available to discuss other ICT services such as Microsoft 365 generic email accounts, SIMS, ICT Protech contracts, Google service, Refresh etc.

This session will be a more technical discussion however if you are unable to make the morning session, please sign up and we will aim to answer any particular interest you may have.
Updata will be available to discuss their broadband and school connectivity services proposition and provide a demonstration of the Netsweeper filtering solution. Other areas we’ll cover are RAS, telephony and MDM.
NCC staff will be available to discuss other ICT services such as Microsoft 365 generic email accounts, SIMS, ICT Protech contracts, Google service, Refresh etc.
We would also like to talk to you about the project planning process and discuss any particular areas you would like to cover to ensure a smooth transition process and cover any concerns that you might have about access to particular services in the new service such as port access, requirements for Apple services etc.
