1. Up to date tab files required for identity management and Google NSIX accounts
It is important that we ensure that our identity management system (IDM) is up to date. From a GDPR point of view we need to ensure the data we hold is accurate and up to date and that we only hold data that we still need to hold for a designated and agreed purpose.
We can see that some schools have not returned a new set of staff and pupil tab files for some time. It is important that we receive tab files regularly, every time there is a change in your staff or pupil records and at least once a month.
If your school has NSIX accounts and you send in tab files via Anycomms to provision these accounts then please can we ask that you send us a new set of tab files as soon as possible. If we do not receive up to date tab files we will have to begin the process of suspending Google NSIX accounts for your school.
If you no longer require your Google NSIX accounts then please let us know.

2. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Google for Education - The Anywhere School 2021 Event 23rd June
Google are hosting The Anywhere School 2021 on 23rd June, 2021. This free online Google for Education event will bring together education leaders and IT experts to discuss how we can prepare for and rebuild to improve the future of learning. You'll also get a sneak peek at new Google products for increasing student engagement and online classroom safety.
The Europe event is scheduled between 12:00pm - 1:15pm.

3. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) Guidance Update
Further to MI sheet (63/21), the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) have updated their website with additional information/advice following further ransomware attacks on the education sector in May and June.

Please take a moment to read the information and make staff aware. As per MI sheet (64/21), if staff are using NSIX accounts we strongly urge them to set up 2FA (2 Factor Authentication) on them.
