1. Important Information: New Capita certificate available

** Only applicable for those sites who will be using the Capita network from 19/02/2024 **

At present, SSL inspection is carried out for Norfolk schools and on each device a certificate is installed to ensure this takes place. Their previous one expired 18/02/2024, which will necessitate a new certificate needing to be deployed to all devices.

If you have a basic or enhanced support contract with ICT Solutions, we will have deployed this automatically for you. If your device has been switched on and connected to the network, it should have received it. However, if you experience any issues or for those sites who do not have our support, you will need to download the new certificate. The new certificate can be found at this link - New Capita certificate download

Failure to install the new certificate will result in users receiving “your connection is not private” messages for most websites visited.

2. Bromcom MIS demonstrations for SIMS schools - February 29th

Bromcom have made us aware that they are putting on some demonstrations for those schools who are still using the SIMS MIS and are thinking of potentially switching when their contract runs out in March 2025.

There are two sessions available on Thursday, February 29^th:

Primary MIS (09:30 – 10:30)
