School Domain Names

All Norfolk schools are entitled to have a domain ending in ".norfolk.sch.uk". This domain is the recommended domain for your school and can be used to host both your website and generic email. ICT Solutions are happy to assist in the integration of your current website with your ".norfolk.sch.uk" domain.

Ordering a new .sch.uk domain name

To order a new .sch.uk domain name you will need to write to Nominet. The full details of what you need to send and the contact address can be found on their website: Nominet - Applying for a .sch.uk school domain.

ICT Solutions registrar tag is EDUCATIONICTSOL. You must provide this to Nominet.

How to transfer a domain name to a different registrar

If you want to transfer your domain to another registrar please contact the service desk from your school's head@ email address via ict@norfolk.gov.uk with details of the new registrar.  There is no charge to transfer your domain.
